ALL PLANETS ASPECTS AND THEIR SIGNIFICANCE IN KP ASTROLOGY

ALL PLANETS ASPECTS AND THEIR SIGNIFICANCE IN KP ASTROLOGY

Accorinding to Indian system, the ancients have declared that all planets aspects the 7th sign and the planets posited itherein; counting from the sign occupied by them.  These aspects are considered to the full except in case of Saturn, Jupiter and Mars who have special aspects.

All planets aspects the 7th sign and

Saturn has a special aspects on 3 and 10

Jupiter on 5 and 9

Mars on 4 and 8 houses

and counting from the sign occupied by the planet.

These aspects are considered to be full and stronger than even their 7th house aspect.  When two planets are combined in one house (sign) they are said to be in "CONJUNCTION".

Generally conjunction occurs only when the planets are within an ORB (distance/margin) of 8 degrees from each other.

These aspects are counted from sign to sign as a whole, irrespective of their position of the planets in the sign.  The aspects are considered as GOOD or BAD  accounting to the nature of the planets and their lordship of the houses.

An aspects is defined as "the angular distance measured in degrees and minutes of celestial longitude between two points in the zodiac".  Aspect are formed between two planets or between a planet and a cusp. Certain aspects will produce good or bad results according to their angular distances.

ORB: The aspect may or may not always be exact to the degree and munute. There maybe a few degrees more or less in taking the aspects into consideration; we usually allow a margin of 8 degrees on both sides; this margin is called as the "ORB".

What is meant RULLING PLANETS in KP astrology:

Those planets, which are ruling at the time of the query and contribute for the frctification ofthe event are called "RULING PLANETS".

The following are the principles involved in the selection of the ruling planets.

a) The ruling planets at the time of query would be the ruling planets at the time of fructification of the event.

b) The ruling planets at the time of birth would be the ruling planets at the time of query or vice-versa.

At the time of judgement of the astrologer can be taken in case the time of query is not noted.

The following planets are regarded as the ruling planets.

a) Lagna Sign Lord

b) Lagna Star Lord

c) Lagna Sub Lord

d) Moon Sign Lord

5) Moon Star Lord

6) Moon Sub Lord

7) Day Lord (the lord of the day)

SUBLORD:

The KP astrology learners are aware that each sign sinsts of 2 1/4 stars.  In Stellar Astrology, the Star Lord is important and needs consideration.  Each star (Nakshatra in Sanskrit Language) is divided into NINE (9) unequal divisions called "Sub divisions" and referred to as "SUB" for the sake of brevity and each planet is allotted one sub-division in the same proportion and in the same order as per Vimsottara Dasa Sysstem.  So the Sub is 1/9th division of a star.  The lord ofthe sub-divion is called "SUB-LORD".

Thelord of the Star(Nakshatra  /Constellation) in which the cusp falls is referred to as 'STAR LORD" or "Constellation Lord" and the lord of the sub-division in which the cusp falls is referred to as "SUB-LORD".

The sublord of the subdivision in whch the cusp falls signifies the results of the house or bhava more pre-dominantly among the sign lord, Star Lord and the Sub lord.  Whitel the sign lord, star lord and sub lord indicate the effects of the Bhava the sublord is essential for munute prediction.
